Teresa Bergman

On one of my visits to Berlin in June 2012, I saw this amazing singer busking at a Berlin train station, I sat down on the stairs and did this quick sketch. I always wanted to give her a copy. I live in Berlin now and just the way this universe works, I saw her at the kunstmarket last weekend...she's happy to get a copy of the sketch and I am happy to share this story. http://www.teresabergman.com

Berliner Fahrradmarkt, waldemarstr. 54

The Berliner Fahrradmarkt kickstarted today. Congratulations Lars for making it happen. Me and Sturat had a stall together, where we had a ball being silly and horrible to each other.

Berliner Farhrradmarkt

I had fun doing  this illustration for my friend Lars who is starting the Berliner Fahrradmarkt, Christopher did the design of the plakat. Looking forward to seeing the prints and also the market.

Cafe Cinema

Walked into this little cafe a few months back, Noone seems to have  tried hard to create an ambience here, things have been left to time, one of the best cafes in Berlin from my perspective, you can find me sitting with a sketchbook on the table next to the window near the bar...peopelwatching!

Marti Fischrestaurant, Tempelhofer Hafen

I am really happy to fish this one out!

funkturm am tempelhofer feld

Although I think the Funkturm is pretty ugly and is overrated as a symbol of the city but  its the most visible thing (literally) in the berlin skyline as well as the berlin imagery, I keep finding it too! These prints are available on canvas...want one?? Write to me!

Maxim Gorky Theater

Der Russe ist einer der birken liebt.
The english subtitles on the small display unit was strange!
